Play and learn in a hands-on activity center for children, ages 4-7. Children can play school, put on a play in the puppet theater and build a log barn. A child-size grocery store and kitchen is a great place for children to learn about commerce.

Crossing Stearns County
In 2005 Stearns County celebrated its 150th anniversary. 'Crossing Stearns County' looks at the culture of the area through the clothing collection of the Museum. From wedding dresses to a Rox baseball uniform, from a pioneer dress to a stewardess uniform clothing tells the story of changing roles of its citizens.

The granite industry was instrumental in the development of Stearns County. The Museum has built a life size replica of a granite quarry showcasing the difficult tasks with which workers had to contend in the 1930s.
